Reason 1: Stress and health risks. A very important factor that can dictate your decision of quitting teaching would be your health. If you think that your body is no longer capable to perform teaching duties and a lot more because of poor physique or illness, it would be best to take a halt from it. As such, your work performance will be compromised and it is not only you who will be affected but also your students as well. Hence it would be suggested that you rest and relax until you can recover or best retire from the said profession.

Reason 2: Personal reasons. Another factor that you can take into consideration in order to quit the teaching profession is your personal stand and satisfaction. If you think you are no longer happy and satisfied with the work, it would be best to find another job. It would prove really difficult on your end if you just stay however, you are slowly killing the life out of you. Do take note that your students can also notice this and for sure your teaching performance will also fluctuate.

Reason 3: Complaints. This is another reason why you must quit teaching. If you somehow overheard or assess that there are many individuals such as your students who are already complaining to you it would be best to stay away then. However, if you think you can handle and bear the situation even if there are hearsays and various grievances against you then stay. But for those individual, who are quite weak emotionally, better find a new working environment.
